Sponsored by Dr. Mohammed Said Khanbesh, President of Hadhramout University and funded by Hadhramout Hope Makers Foundation for development. Within the field descent program for graduate students, a 10-day application program for graduate students were established in the Department of Food Science and Technology to National Fish Canning and Packing Factory in Al-shiher district to learn more closely about the basics of working in the factory and the stages of production that go through it. Which aims to increase the student’s knowledge and promote educational achievement

Mr. Hassan Yousef Abdullah Qaid, The HR, and Dr. Khaled Baabad, Financial Director of the factory, who gave a detailed explanation about the factory, received the attendees

For their part, they confirmed that the factory welcomes students, connects them to the practical side, and looks forward to future partnerships to train students

For his part, Dr. Khaled Awad Al-Rabaki, Dean of the Faculty of Environmental Sciences and Marine Biology, expressed his thanks and gratitude to National Fish Canning and Packing Factory and Hadhramout Hope Makers Foundation for Development. For what was agreed upon in terms of training and supporting students and he praises such programs for their benefit to the student and society

In turn, Dr. Wael Abdulrahman Al-Saban, Head of the Department of Food Science and Technology of the Faculty of Environmental Sciences and Marine Biology commended such programs and descents thanking the Foundation’s and factory departments for providing all facilities and continuous and unlimited support. For such programs and descents to increase knowledge, especially after graduation, they need practical application to be able to meet the challenges they face in the future labour market.
